Known for their exceptional luster, which is often described as "satiny" or "soft", South Sea pearls are rare because the oysters that produce them are less common and require specific pristine environment to thrive.
Our stunning white South Sea pearls are ethically sourced in farms off the coasts of Australia and of AAA quality. Oceano provides a certificate of authenticity with each pearl.

Pearls are the only gemstones whose shape, lustre, and colour cannot be modified. They are a direct creation of the ocean, making each pearl one-of-a-kind.

Sourcing
Farming pearls is the most ecological way to find pearls without depleting the environment. Pearl oysters need crystal clear water in order to thrive, as they act as natural filters for the ocean and cannot survive in polluted areas. We carefully choose eco-friendly, certified Fair Trade Origin farms whose practices respect the environment and the ocean.
It takes from 3-10 years for South Sea pearls to mature and be harvested. Once the pearl has grown to 7mm, pearl farmers can respectfully remove it without damaging the oyster. The oyster will only produce 1 or 2 more pearls in its lifetime. The South Sea pearl can grow until 20mm in size.

Our Fine Collection is made from 18K solid gold, responsibly sourced from the UK’s leading jewellery district. We collaborate with ethically-conscious suppliers who provide fully traceable recycled gold, certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. Each Oceano piece arrives in our signature gift box, ready to offer. Delivery in Mauritius is complimentary, in 5–7 business days. 

International delivery takes 7–16 business days and is complimentary from €250 (otherwise €25).

Orders shipped outside Mauritius may be subject to the local import VAT and a carrier handling fee on arrival.

Cleaning

Pearls: wearing pearls maintains their shine; the skin’s natural oils keep pearls alive and hydrated.
